My Story: From Junk to Joy

Welcome to my creative corner of the world! Based in beautiful Gimuy (Cairns), I am a arts and crafts hobby maker who believes that "waste" is just a lack of imagination. One of my goals is simple - to save high quality items from landfill and give them a second life as beautiful, functional gifts.

🌱 The "Slow Craft" Philosophy 🌱

I don't believe in mass production. My process is "slow" by design. I spend my time scouring local 2nd hand stores for reclaimed wood and unique finds. Using water-based paints, decoupage, and sustainable materials and transform these items into one of a kind treasures.

🌈 Eclectic & Whimsical 🍄

Because I love having a go at different art and crafts, you know like from woodworking to whimsical paper art, no two pieces are ever exactly the same. Whether I’m creating a souvenir that celebrates our local Cairns icons or a kawaii inspired gift meant to spark a smile, every one of these unique items are made with love and a touch of my own whimsy. Perfectly Imperfect and not factory processed!

I acknowledge the Gimuy Walaburra Yidinji and Yirrganydji as the Traditional Custodians of the land, seas, and waterways on which my home and surrounding area stands.  I pay respect to their Elders both past and present.
